We are committed to delivering professional workmanship and reliable service across Singapore. This policy outlines our refund terms and 1.5 Year (18 Months) Service Repair Guarantee.
Workmanship Warranty: 18 Months from the date of service completion.
1. General Refund Policy
Due to the nature of service-based work, refunds are generally not applicable once services have been completed and accepted by the customer.
Refunds may only be considered under limited circumstances, as outlined below.
2. 1.5 Year (18 Months) Workmanship Guarantee
We provide an 18-month workmanship warranty for selected services, including:
- Plumbing repairs and installations
- Electrical installations
- Painting services
- Door lock replacement
- General installation services
This warranty covers defects directly resulting from our workmanship.
If a verified workmanship defect occurs within 18 months, we will inspect and rectify the issue at no additional labor charge.
3. What Is Covered
- Installation defects caused by improper fitting
- Loose fixtures due to workmanship error
- Paint peeling due to improper surface preparation
- Electrical connection faults related to installation
- Plumbing leaks caused by installation errors
4. What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence
- Structural building defects
- Water leakage from external building sources
- Pest infestation damage
- Third-party modifications or repairs
- Manufacturer material defects (covered under supplier warranty)
- Natural deterioration due to environmental factors
If the issue is determined not to be related to workmanship, service charges may apply.
5. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only under the following conditions:
- Service was paid for but not performed
- Work was cancelled before commencement within the agreed terms
- Mutual agreement due to exceptional circumstances
Once work has commenced or been completed, refunds are generally not applicable. Rectification will be provided where applicable under warranty terms.
6. Warranty Claim Process
To request warranty service:
- Contact us with your job reference and service date
- Provide photos of the issue
- Arrange an inspection appointment
If the issue qualifies under the workmanship warranty, rectification will be scheduled accordingly.
7. Limitation of Liability
Sar Deen Engineering Pte Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of business income
- Property damage unrelated to our workmanship
- Pre-existing building conditions
